Manager – Project Coordination, HIV/AIDS and SRH

The role
This position will be responsible for implementation and oversee of ‘Strengthening District Coordination mechanism for SRH and HIV program in Cox’s Bazar’ under the guidance of Senior Manager – FSWI in the UNFPA Project (SRH & HIV). S/he will play lead role to implement strategic response based on the current SRH & HIV implementers in selected geographical locations in respective area. S/he will also be responsible to work closely with respective implementing organizations and provide necessary support to them and will take necessary steps for engaging the implementing organizations to find out existing gaps and way of recovery. The Manager will also ensure and take necessary steps for engaging the organizations for established SRH and HIV related referral services, maintain regular communication, coordination and collaboration with, ASP, UNFPA, UNHCR, Health partners of ISCG, members of SAG-Health, ISCG sub-group of SRH, senior health officials, services providers of GOB, SRH & HIV service providers of NGOs and other related organizations/stakeholders. S/he will also be responsible for preparing report (quarterly, annual, etc.) both technical, financial reports in coordination with Senior Manager and finance unit.

Qualifications and experience

  • MBBS Degree, preferable with MPH (Masters in Public Health)
  • At least 6 years of working experience including project planning, implementation, particularly public health programs & proven experience in SRH & HIV/AIDS program activities.
  • Practical experience on Advocacy, Coordination, Training, facilitation and capacity building
  • Experience in partnership program with Government, NGOs, and private sectors are required.
  • Experience in program planning, work plan development and program M&E is essential.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are highly required and local level advocacy is the key
  • Management skills will specially add value to this position
  • Experience in supervision, team work with complex and diversified professionals
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Contract length: Up to December 2019 with possibility of further extension
