The Office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Taxes Zone-Kushtia, has released a recruitment notice for various temporary positions from Grade 13 to Grade 20. Permanent residents of Kushtia, Chuadanga, and Meherpur districts are invited to apply online.

2. Principal Assistant (Grade-13) 22 Bachelor’s degree (2nd Class/CGPA); Typing: 25 wpm (BN) / 30 wpm (EN).
3. Upper Division Assistant (Grade-14) 22 Bachelor’s degree (2nd Class/CGPA); Typing: 25 wpm (BN) / 30 wpm (EN).
4. Steno Typist-cum-Computer Operator (Grade-14) 23 Bachelor’s degree (2nd Class/CGPA); Shorthand: 45 wpm (BN) / 70 wpm (EN); Typing: 25 wpm (BN) / 30 wpm (EN).
5. Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist (Grade-16) 27 HSC or equivalent (2nd Division/CGPA); Typing: 20 wpm (BN) / 20 wpm (EN).
6. Office Sohayok (Grade-20) 27 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent pass.

Application Timeline & Fees

  • Application Start: May 7, 2026, at 09:00 AM.

  • Application Deadline: June 3, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

  • Fee for Posts 1–5: 112/- BDT (including Teletalk service charge).

  • Fee for Post 6: 56/- BDT (including Teletalk service charge).

  • Payment Window: Fees must be paid via SMS within 72 hours of submitting the online application.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as of May 1, 2026 (up to 32 years for Freedom Fighter/Physically Disabled quotas).

  • District Restriction: Only permanent residents of Kushtia, Chuadanga, and Meherpur can apply.

  • Govt. Employees: Must apply through the proper channel and select the “Departmental Candidate” option.

How to Apply Online

  1. Visit the official application portal: https://taxkus.teletalk.com.bd.

  2. Upload a recent color photo (300×300 pixels, max 100KB) and signature (300×80 pixels, max 60KB).

  3. After submitting the form, use a Teletalk Pre-paid mobile to pay the fee:

    • 1st SMS: TAXKUS <space> USER ID to 16222.

    • 2nd SMS: TAXKUS <space> YES <space> PIN to 16222.

Selection Process & Exam Distribution

Candidates for posts 1–5 must pass written and practical examinations to qualify for the oral (viva) exam. Post 6 requires a written exam followed by a viva.

Exam Marks (90 Minutes Written):

  • Computer Operator: Bengali (20), English (20), Math (20), Computer Knowledge (30).

  • Other Posts: Bengali (25), English (25), Math (20), General Knowledge (20).

  • Viva Voce: 10 Marks for all positions.
